Cold-Brew Marinated Steak

On the grill this afternoon: Cold-Brew marinated steak!
Try out this bold recipe:

1. In a small skillet, toast 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds in 6 tablespoons of butter. Add 1 chopper onion and 4 minced garlic cloves; saute until tender. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of Chameleon Cold-Brew concentrate, 1 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and sesame seed mixture.

2. Pour half into a large resealable plastic bag; add steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.

3. Drain and discard marinade from steak. Grill steak, covered, over medium-hot heat for 6-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°). Warm reserved marinade; serve with steak.

Caramel Apple Breakfast Cake

Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it too? Try this delicious Caramel Apple Breakfast Cake!

Ingredients:

1 cup Chameleon Caramel Cold-Brew
1 1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour
2 teaspoons of aluminum free baking powder
1/2 cup olive oil, or 1/4 apple sauce and 1/4 olive oil
1/3 cup unrefined sugar, or maple syrup
2 eggs, I always use organic
2/3 cups Greek plain yogurt
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
3 organic apples, sliced thin, any type of apples you prefer really
1/4 cup home made caramel sauce, optional

Topping:
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, you can also use pecans
1/3 cup coconut oil, you can also use olive oil
1/2 cup unrefined sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease and flour a 9 inch spring form pan.

2. In a mixing bowl mix cold-brew, eggs, oil, yogurt, vanilla and sugar.
3. Add the flour and baking powder and combine. Pour thick batter onto the prepared baking pan. 
4. In another bowl combing streusel topping and place over the apples.
5. Bake for about 30-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove cake and pour caramel sauce over the cake and serve.

Bulletproof Ghee Cold-Brew

Blend up 1 cup of heated Chameleon Cold-Brew concentrate with your mixer of choice and add 1-2 tablespoons of ghee. Let cool, and pour over ice (the ghee will not separate).

Cold-Brew Popsicle

4oz. Chameleon Mocha concentrate 1/2 cup of the dairy or non-dairy creamer of choice Dash of cinnamon Dash of cayenne Touch of honey Mix ingredients together, pour into popsicle mold and place in freezer. Wait a few hours and enjoy!

Turbo-charged Brownies

2 cups white spelt flour 1 Cup Chocolate Cherry @modernoats 1 cup cocoa powder 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder 1 cup maple syrup 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup brown rice syrup (or light agave nectar) 1/2 cup Chameleon Cold-brew Black Concentrate 1/2 cup soymilk 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons oil 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided Heat oven to 350°. Grind @modernoats in food processor. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, oats and a pinch of salt into a bowl. Whisk maple syrup, oil, brown rice syrup, coffee, soymilk and vanilla in another bowl. Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Pour half the batter into a greased 9″ x 11″ baking dish; top with half the chips. Pour remaining batter into dish and top with remaining chips. Almond Butter Vanilla Coffee Smoothie

Chocolate-Drizzled Coffee Popcorn

Spread 1 bag of pre-popped popcorn out evenly onto a large baking sheet. Melt 1 cup of chocolate discs in a double boiler or microwave and mix with 2 oz. of Chameleon Cold-Brew (we used Mocha) drizzle onto the popcorn. Set in the fridge for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Vanilla Pecan Milkshake 

2 scoops of caramel pecan coconut ice cream 1/2 cup vanilla coconut milk 4 oz. Chameleon Cold-Brew Vanilla Concentrate 1/2 cup of crushed pecans –put all of ingredients in blender – mix it all up and enjoy!
